A brief summary of who I am and some of the interests I have, by now means an exhaustive list. As you may have figured out by now my name is Chris McIntosh and I am a website designer and website developer. I also am the father of 5 kids and live in the small southern town of Evansville in the fine state of Indiana.
The purpose for this site is two fold to display my work as a website designer and web site developer and also to get in contact with other website developers or website designers for the sake of community, collaborative work, and just for having a good time together. As anyone who lives in Evansville many website designers are close fisted with their thoughts, ideas, and abilities. To a determent of their own is how I see this practice of some closed mind designers.

Supporting Open Source
I am a firm believer in the Open Source movement. It is often a very misunderstood thing when it comes to most of the corporate types. They look at many open source solutions as amateur, low-quality, or risk of losing their clients. It is fear that often blinds large corporations into not adopting new, innovative, productive, and often creatively intelligent solutions to problems that they turn around and spend millions on. I am not saying that professionals should be taken out of the loop. On the contrary it is often these very same professionals who are developing the solutions that many of the big industries scoff at. If you are one of these individuals I challenge you to look for sites of high caliber that do use open source as their platform or for some solution and take note of the strength of community that is being built.
